Although we will be doing lots of P.A.T preparation in class, it is important to do some preparation at home also.

A little each day will be better than trying to cram everything into one long session the night before.

Leading up to the Exam...

-Consider studying with a group. This is an ideal time to compare and review notes, ask each other question, explain ideas to each other, and discuss difficult concepts.

-If at any point you are confused or need extra help throughout the term, please come see me. I am here to help you succeed!

-Think about potential written questions that could be on the exam. 

-A collection of note cards or glossary terms are helpful to create throughout the year! This will make studying more convenient and this will help you for both portions of the P.A.T.

Before the Exam...

-Get a good nights sleep!

-Eliminate negative thoughts. Try to think positively!

Day of...

-Eat a healthy breakfast! 

-Do not engage in negative talk before the exam with others such as ... "I am so nervous!"or

"I don't think I'm prepared". Try to stay calm and confident.
